SuperZoo 2017 Recap – Dr. Pol, Lucy Pet and More - Vittles Vault

SuperZoo 2017 - Trade show Recap

SuperZoo is a pet industry trade show that is held once a year in Las Vegas Nevada. GAMMA2 has been attending for 15 years, and this year was the best show yet! Here are our favorite moments from SuperZoo, and some cool people that we got to meet!

Meeting Dr. Pol

One of the absolute highlights was meeting the incredible Dr. Pol! If you don’t know who Dr. Pol is, then you need to head over to Nat Geo Wild and check out his show. Dr. Pol and his wife were at the Vetericyn booth doing a meet and greet on day 1 of the show.

It was so awesome to meet them and talk to them. They are such amazing people, and so down to earth! I definitely had a little fan girl moment!

Jack from Lucy Pet

We also got to meet some pretty cute pups! Here is Jack, the Golden Retriever, from Lucy Pet Products.

Jack the Golden Retriever Lucy Pet Products

Jack is such a cute spokesdog for Lucy Pet Products. She was definitely a hit around the whole show! (Yes, Jack is actually a girl).

Ragnar the Viking

Ragnar (a Malinois) stopped by with his dad on the last day of the show. They're in the middle of filming a documentary about K9 working dogs.

Ragnar is such a well-behaved dog, and loves tummy rubs, catching balls and playing fetch. True to his breed, he was friendly, confident and very active!

Our New Booth!

Here’s our wonderful new booth setup! It was the first year with our 16 foot tower. We were all pleasantly surprised with how well it stood out. The height of the tower was impressive, and made our booth easily visible, especially with all the interior lighting!

Making Friends at SuperZoo

One of the things we love about SuperZoo is getting to see all the other brands in the pet industry. We get to meet the people behind the brand and check out their wonderful products!

K9 Naturals

K9 Natural is a New Zealand-based company, which makes pet food and treats with only the best ingredients. We really enjoyed getting to meet some of their team and smell (I mean check out) their awesome products!

FuzzYard caught our eye in the New Products display area by having some of the coolest dog clothes, along with some pretty amazing collars and harnesses. They are an Australian-based company and let me tell you, they’ve got some really cool stuff! We loved meeting some of their team and exploring all their adorable stuff!

Did someone say cupcakes?

Full Moon and Spot Farms

If your dog is a major food snob, then you have to get these treats! Full Moon dog treats are kitchen-crafted natural dog treats that are made with 100% human grade ingredients. They have an artisanal line of jerky that smells seriously good!

With flavors like maple blueberry chicken jerky (that literally smell like delicious pancakes) and honey peach pork jerky, your dog won’t be disappointed with these treats. You may even want to try a taste!

A huge thank you to their team who graciously let us take some bags back to the office for our own pups. Our GAMMA2 spokesdog, Chucko, definitely approves and says two paws up.

Serious about trying some new treats.

Chucko loves his new Full Moon Training Treats

Spot Farms is another incredible dog treat company. They were sharing a booth with Full Moon so we got to see some of the best treats on the market all in one place! It was a lot of fun meeting their team, and we loved that we were able to smell and touch their treats!

Chucko loves everything from Spot Farms!

We had so much fun at SuperZoo this year, and can’t wait to see all the new products and brands next year!
